Maker & Monger opens
at Prahran Market

 

A targeted publicity campaign announced the opening of Maker & Monger at Prahran Market in August 2015.

The raclette and grilled cheese bar features a hand-picked selection of artisan cheese inspired by history, traditional recipes and the travels of wandering cheesemonger, Anthony Femia. Themed press releases and a teaser menu were developed and sent to the media guest list.

This was Prahran Market's most successful campaign to date, garnering over 25 social media posts and over 30 press hits among food and lifestyle media across Melbourne, including front page of the Herald Sun Taste lift out.

Cheesemonger Anthony Femia knows the secret to a good cheesy treat. It's simple really, all you need is gooey melty cheese with lots of crusty, crunchy bits. This is why the only two menu items at Maker and Monger, his Prahran Market cheese cart, are grilled cheese toasties and raclette cheese melted on potatoes and cornichons (the Swiss way, if you must know).
